This was taken as I had a wander round Newcastle University. Not a political statement but a social one. Some of Newcastles’ most beautiful buildings are on the campus,so I have decided this week we are all going to Uni! (But please keep the noise down…”.****** students” !!!
These kinds of statements with graphic illustrations work in terms of making people think but I wonder how it translates into action?

I think I had “recycled” more than that by yesteday lunchtime, and by the “end of play”, I had probably drunk most of the spirits in East Yorkshire. I am now having to press the keyboard keys VERY quitely.

Psst Inspired….it’s about the carbon footprint of the water industry and some of the nasty chemicals they use to treat abstracted water and to treat waste water….and how our use of fossil fuels affects climate in the 3rd world.
