I’m so happy to find this blog!! I’ve just spent ages looking through your entire archive. I was born in Newcastle and lived there until I was 18. I’ve been away for 12 years and I can’t believe how much it’s changed but at the same time it’s still the same old place. Fantastic photographs. Thank you so much. I love seeing all the new art, I was a landscape architect in a past life, and it’s wonderful to see how much life and soul this city has. Makes me want to come back!! You have such a positive advertisement for Newcastle here!

The site was launched way back in February 2006 and, apart from a few 'sick' days here and there it has provided a daily snapshot of life in the great city of Newcastle upon Tyne
