Tyne Bridge from the Quayside
Taken at the beginning of June through an open gateway when I was on my way to the Live Theatre to see a play by my friend Roz.
(it was great, by the way!)

That’s beautiful and I love the sunshine on that white gable end too.
What a fantastic perspective of the bridge.
I love the way you’re getting us locals to look at Newcastle from a different angle, thank you!
Lovely view of the bridge. I’m coming up to Newcastle tomorrow for a day out, can’t wait! Plus i’ve bought a new camera, looking forward to taking some pics, although i’m sure they wont be as good as yours….
Thanks Dave. Me too.
) Hope you get some great pics! Where are you going while you’re here?
Thanks Sue! *blushes*
Katie H – thanks
My son’s recently finished at Uni so it’s just an excuse to go there really. I used to live in Sandyford in the 70′s so will probably go there and take some pics. I always get sentimental when i go back, i love Newcastle…
Beth, have just been scanning your flickr photostream… how do you take so many photos? And they’re all so good!
Hope you have a great day Katie!
Dave – thanks! I haven’t posted any new ones in ages, will have to add some – I have TONS. And shh, don’t tell anyone, but I just don’t post the bad ones on flickr ;o)
This is very beautiful. Great, unusal view, well done.
Thanks Daniel
Bridges are great to photography. They have a lot of interesting designs.
I like scenes like this, when the Bridge is trying to sneak into the shot, like a naughty kid trying to steal the show!
i do love taking pics of the tyne bridge mike!
dave – heh
