Millennium Bridge

The problem with the Millennium Bridge is that it’s really hard to take a picture of it that hasn’t been taken a million times before. I took one on Thursday morning in glorious sunshine that could have been a postcard shot… but it’s been done. I’ll stick it on flickr still when I have some time, but for the minute I prefer this one, taken from the middle of the bridge.

  1. Now you are making us curious what the other one looks like, aren’t you? ;-) If it’s as beautiful as this one, feel free to post it. I for one haven’t seen a postcard from the Toon for years, so chances are it’ll be new to some people on here.

  2. Well go on then – I’ll post it tomorrow, just for you! :)

  3. Yes I like the simplicity of this one; yes it is difficult to take original shots of such photographed sites but you’ve done a good one here!

  4. Great shot – I have yet to visit Newcastle Upon Tyne, but this kind of photo makes me eager to arrange it. Thanks.

  5. Thanks Dave. And thanks Eamon – do visit!
