At first glance I thought a boat – so what? Looking closer I can see the rings formed by raindrops on the surface of the burn, the buildings look a bit weird and then there is that lovely old fashioned pigeon cree. What a wonderful picture, Beth.
The site was launched way back in February 2006 and, apart from a few 'sick' days here and there it has provided a daily snapshot of life in the great city of Newcastle upon Tyne

It’s a surprisingly peaceful spot; down almost a the water’s edge; good views of Ncl too.
