Where the He!! is Newcastle?
I think for the next several weeks i’ll be posting a video on Wednesdays. What do you think, good idea?
This first video features myself and my roommate Nicole dancing around various places in Newcastle and Northumberland.
This video was made to imitate Matt Hardings videos where he dances around the world. See his video here: Where the He!! is Matt? (2008)

Fantastic!! Great fun! I feel ‘shattered’ just WATCHING this you guys . . . but actually (also) what a lovely souvenir of all these places in 2009.
Good to see the blog I started is still going strong–love it and still keep up with it(even though I miss it too!)
Loved the dancing and the video is an excellent idea.
Looks a bit dicey on that rope bridge! I particularly liked the shot outside Newcastle U. with all the extra dancers. It is good to see the public getting involved in performance art.
Fantastic Cass!
What a great creative idea, I do like it. A change is as good as a rest!
Post more vids, they are entertaining!
Like the “Privacy Shield”, but too late, I have already seen B jiving those hips in it!
Mike
Chris! You still exist!!!!! Hello! Glad you’re still around
Mike – don’t tell anyone what I look like
Wow !! That was great. Good to see you have been to Chatsworth, which is near Sheffield, as well as all the great northern views. Not sure about revealing personal address. What was the first piece of music ??
Roll on the next Vid.
Peter, thank you! Sometimes we had to dance for quite a while to get good shots, but thankfully not for more than a few minutes!
CHRIS! You’re alive! How’s it been for you, eh?
Bob, those extra dancers were other MA students. We convinced them to join in before class.
Mike, I goofed. I know B’s rules, I should have been more careful. But thanks for your comments!
NicholasB, Megabus stopped in sheffield on the way to Chatsworth. I got to see a few tall buildings, one o them with silver feather-like squares on the sides. Any idea what that building was? It was awfully pretty in the morning light. We don’t live at 16 Brandon anymore. Last I heard, the flat was nothing but walls and floors, it had been totally abandoned. Probably has squatters living in or something by now… The music is Praan by Garry Schyman. It was featured in the original video by Matt Harding, too.
Next weeks video isn’t nearly as fun or edited, or set to fun music with blooper reels, but I hope you guys will like it!
Enjoyable girls!
A fun and unique way to showcase surrounding Newcastle.
We love all the daily photo’s and now the video.
“Hello” to you from California, we love your website.
I used to live in Denton Burn so all your pictures of Newcastle and Northumberland are food for the soul. Thanks guys!
Ashley.
