Newcastle University Building
I’ve forgotten what this building is called but it was built in the last few years, and is hugely energy efficient I seem to remember. Anyone?

It’s the Devonshire building.
I have an office in there. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be as a workspace trust me..
I’m told that the building looks spectacular when it is lit up at night. Slightly off topic but I read the other day that the university is currently building a 462-bed student village on the former site of Scottish and Newcastle Breweries. It seems fitting.
Thanks Paul.
What a shame Dan!
Alf – I’ll have to have a look sometime. And get some pics of the new student village – yes, definitely fitting!
+1 to Dan.
And it actually has one of the worst energy efficiency scores in the University (although that may be something to do with the equipment that is used in the building). Not something the University necessarily likes to publicise!
