This is Eldon Square Bus Station. If you take the entrance to Eldon Square that you can see on the left and keep walking, in a few minutes you’ll leave through the entrance I featured on Friday.

More reflections in Old Eldon Square, this time in the window of Strada. You can see Grey’s Monument and the Emerson Chambers, as well as the George and Dragon monument and the buildings opposite.

I really like this pic, with the benches and the grass as well as Grey’s Monument.

Eldon Square entrance

This entrance to Eldon Square is where the George and Dragon pub used to be. Now this is St George’s Way, which has Starbucks, Nandos, a card shop called Serendipity (I think), and Waitrose. If you go up the escalators outside Waitrose you will find yourself on Hotspur Way, between Boots and John Lewis.

St Andrew’s Way will be opening soon – and Debenhams will open in 11 days.

tree

The theme for this month is wood. I had great plans of getting to Jesmond Dene and taking a picture in the woods there, but never got round to it. This tree is outside Osborne’s bar on Osborne Road in Jesmond.
