Ash, don’t be fooled by Beth’s ability to make the sun shine for her when it doesn’t shine for the rest of us. I must admit that Monday was relatively warm after I had scraped the ice off the car but the rest of the week was decidedly cool. The single daffodil in my garden tells me that spring is on the way but we might have to wait a bit longer yet.

The bird is on the wing
How absurd, I always thought
the wing was on the bird.
Well I loved the sun shining. And today I needed to see it. London was colder than Newcastle brrrrrrr.
