I haven’t been to Scrumpy Willow in a while, but that’s because I’m only rarely down that end of town. It has veggie and vegan food, but with organic and locally sourced meat dishes to keep the carnivores happy. And I really should visit again soon.

  1. I love the name and the shop front.

  2. I agree with Bill about the name and the shop front. It looks very inviting. I am told by a friend that the bicycle parked outside is always there. I had a look at the menu and they do a good old fashioned High Tea. Sounds like our sort of thing, Mrs. K.

  3. Oh Alf

I was hoping to get to Marconi’s and then a ‘ten ton truck’ came around a corner and back to square one.

But this will be on the wish list too.

  4. I suggested this place to a friend of mine who is vegetarian after seeing this post Beth – she went today and would recommend the scones – with home made jam!

  5. …and I hope there was clotted cream to go with the scones and home made jam, the perfect high tea.
