The site was launched way back in February 2006 and, apart from a few 'sick' days here and there it has provided a daily snapshot of life in the great city of Newcastle upon Tyne-

Very cool picture..took me a minute to get my bearings. I like this weeks theme in pictures.
I love reflection shots – at least, the good ones! There is something so unexpected about them. It tickles some part of my brain directly connected to my pleasure centre.

Really like this photo! The contrast between the grey of the curb and the asphalt, and the orange, cream and blue of the reflection in the puddle.
