I took this because it always makes me smile that the machine says ‘thank you’ when you use the right change. But it’s quite a nice reflection shot of Jesmond metro station, too.

Ohhhh… the memories. I used to get my tickets from those machines too. Except I got mine at Heworth Station. Now that I would like to see the inside of… just to see how much it has changed.

Thanks Alf. I see Heworth station hasn’t changed at all.
I remember the very first machines that had a red LED screen and kids used to shove crisp packets up to stop peoples change coming out and go back later and pull it out and get all the change other users had not got.
