Even though I constantly tell people to look up, I didn’t really notice these buildings until recently.

And I’d like to say congratulations to my lovely sister, who gets married today, and welcome to the family to my lovely new bro-in-law :)

This Hum-Bee was parked outside the Old Assembly Rooms (the ones you used to go dancing in Mrs K!) a couple of months ago now. What a great wedding car!

fenwicks

This sign is round the side of the Fenwicks building. I know the buildings aren’t particularly photogenic but I like the reflection and the sky on this shot.

Has this piece always been there? If so how on earth have I never noticed it before a couple of weeks ago?

Does anyone know what it’s called or who it’s by?

I took another pic yesterday – you can see it here.

More flowers outside St Thomas’ church and the Civic Centre. There are so many flowers in Newcastle.

If you look very closely you can see the Robinson Library (the Newcastle University Library) in the background.

I do miss the lego men – I’ve heard rumours as to where they are, I’ll have to investigate soon before they get moved! – but I like the castle railings too.

I’m sure I’ve posted something fairly similar before, but still. I like this picture of the Castle Keep from Central Station.
