August rain
I seem to remember that we’ve had a couple of nice days. But largely so far August has been all about the rain.

The site was launched way back in February 2006 and, apart from a few 'sick' days here and there it has provided a daily snapshot of life in the great city of Newcastle upon Tyne-

Blame St. Swithin, since it rained on his day I can’t remember a day that was wholly without rain. Even yesterday I felt a few spots in the afternoon on what was otherwise a lovely day.
It did?! I don’t remember that far back – blame sleep deprivation

Don’t worry about the sleep deprivation it won’t last long. I can’t wait until you tell us that J slept right through the night for the first time. It does happen, honestly. You have so much to look forward to but do keep the camera handy when you are out and about. My great granddaughter is 17 months ahead of J and she is a joy. I am babysitting her tomorrow and I am really looking forward to it.
