I managed to miss Grey Street Garden for a long time as I was a bit busy round the time it was put in(!).

I’m so glad I’ve got to take some pics while it’s still there! Does anyone know how long it’s staying? I’m kind of hoping it’s going to be a permanent thing.

  1. No idea but I agree, love the idea and hope it stays. Looks especially nice on a sunny day like this!

  2. The one time I was in Grey Street since the garden appeared I obviously had no time to “stand and stare” or I would have noticed that quotation from W. H. Davies, poet and supertramp. My only excuse is that I was on my way to meet some friends in a pub. I read somewhere that the gardens and the Quayside Seaside would be there for three months from July so not long now.

  3. So i’d better get down to the Quayside Seaside while it’s still there, eh?

  4. It’s temporary for the summer months, finishes on Fri 30 Sep. Very nice while it lasts!

By the way I found this youtube video about “The Bridges Festival” in August this year, that you may have missed. The fireworks finale looked fantastic! http://youtu.be/Lqh3_MucJ1M?hd=1

  5. It lied :( It’s all gone already. I was in town today and there was none of it left. Almost like it’d never been there :(

I can’t believe I never even heard about the Bridges festival! Ah well, I guess I’ve been busy :) and yes, the fireworks look amazing!
