Rock’n'roll all nite!
A couple of doors down from the shops on yesterdays image (housed in an ugly modern building-no need to look up here) is a store selling everything a budding rock star needs. Guitarguitar, “the UK’s largest guitar store”, has the most fantastic window display. I can just imagine the noise those speakers would make if those 5 guitars where picked up, plugged in, and played. I don’t think the windows would last long!

Chris, I wish you hadn’t chosen that shop as I always feel guilty when I see Maybrook House because I have always promised myself that I would find out what was there before it was built and I have never have. It was built in the early 70s I believe but I think it fits quite well with its more illustrious surroundings. It could have been a lot worse like the Newgate Shopping Centre.
What a great shot – I love those Marshall stacks.
I was in that shop a few months ago looking at a Rickenbacker bass that I could never justify getting (lack of talent and money). I had just about forgotten it until now ……………….

Go for it – save up and buy it – live is to be lived and who knows your talent might improve and if not, just strum it when you want to and ‘Imagine’. We all need dreams and sometimes they do come true.
Sorry Alf…Next time Im guest you will have to give me a list of shots ‘not’ to do!
PJF, totally agree with mrs K. Although makes me a complete hypocrite as I feel exactly the same about my photography as you do about your music.
Chris and mrs k, Thanks for the wise words. I totally agree with what you said – they are the exact reasons I used to justify buying the two guitars I already have!! But, if I win a lottery I know where my first stop will be.
Will let you know if I find out!
And… I keep thinking I should take a pic of Newgate Shopping Centre, but… I really don’t like it
