Last time I drove past there was a fair just next to Killingworth Lake. This is a somewhat Tenin-esque shot.

The site was launched way back in February 2006 and, apart from a few 'sick' days here and there it has provided a daily snapshot of life in the great city of Newcastle upon Tyne-

Looks like fairs are the same or similar all over the world. Our county fairs are about agriculture and the rides and games are for children, mostly.
Great Phots
At last some life in Killingworth. I lived there many years ago and it was dying. I am pleased to see that it has not died completely.
The Tenin treatment is so right for this Beth.
If you can call it ‘life’ alf. We’re in Killingworth over a mile from the fair and the sound system’s loud. Turned me into a grumpy old woman hanging washing out yesterday. Glad it’s not summer when we’d have windows open:)
