I have decided to spend a couple of days at Newcastle civic centre,as there is some interesting stuff here.I didn’t even know these were here until last week! I was quite impressed though.A nice view through those stuffy office windows. There is ANOTHER VIEW here.
April 18, 2006 - Civic Centre Swans.
about Civic Centre Swans. ... posted by chris.h.

there is a colour change, must be the light. Im not too sure of the significance of the swans but there’ll be one, i might go on a hunt to find it. I’m trying to think of a funny connection to swan hunters, as you said you have just discovered them, but i cant.
lively statues. Love it !!
Looks as if they were once real swans who tried to fly away before being turned into stones by an evil witch…but they were too late! :)
At last something I knew was there before you, Ive always loved these, You’ve captured them beautifully.
Happy Birthday
Great sculpture. I really like this shot. It looks like they are taking flight.
Amazing how they made it so solid but fragile looking! Happy Birthday to you!!
Wonderful sculptures.

Wow… looks like a hard piece of sculpture to have created…
I love this type of art, it’s so real.
Chris, I just realized I missed your birthday - although I saved the date a long time ago thanks to our internal Calendar.
Sorry for that.
I also realized I had not visited your blog in a long time - I am pretty busy at the moment - and I must say that some of your pics are really cool (I love this sculpture BTW).
Happy birthday again.
Nice sculpture
