Just in time for holloween, is this a remarkable mosaic that is one of three featured in the Whitley Bay Metro station.

We’ll hop on the Metro tomorrow, and travel to Monument station in the City Centre!

October 30, 2007 - St. George Church

Also in Cullercoats bay, this gorgeous church, St. George’s, stands overlooking the beach. It’s impressive, and can also be seen by those incoming by airplane.

October 29, 2007 - Bill’s Fish

Traveling towards Tynemouth, you will come across this take away spot near Cullercoats bay. I think it has the best fish and chips around. Anyone want to prove me wrong?

Continuing on our way, there is a house on the left that has “you are not here” above the door. Perhaps there is a surrealist living inside?
