Located on Stephenson Road, Heaton, Newcastle NE6 5QF is the People’s Theatre

The premier amateur theatre company in the North of England and one of the largest and oldest established in the country. Every show they do is produced entirely by its own members - on stage, backstage and front of house. Above all the People’s is a theatre run by and for its members and is open to anyone who wants to become involved. Upcoming shows include The Hound of the Baskervilles, Aladdin, 84 Charing Cross Road, and Blood Wedding. It’s also possible to hire their building or costumes, if you are so inclined.
