Another shot of Heaton Park again.  (What can I say?  I love this place).  This little girl had a rather unique kite and seemed to be enjoying herself.  Such a beautiful day!

March 24, 2009 - Cloughs, Heaton Road

Cloughs, an old-fashioned sweet shop on Heaton Road. It’s been a sweet shop since 1934, and the owner has written a book with his brother detailing the history of the shop. They are also out to preserve the Geordie history of song and dance - click here for more.

There’s even a facebook group for fans of Cloughs.
