A few of you have been asking for photos of where I am now so here you go. This week will be all about comparing and contrasting Newcastle and Michigan.
This first one is the road I lived on during my time in Newcastle.

This second one is the road I live on now.

What a difference!

I tend to take a lot of photos from airplanes because it just looks so darn awesome. The first one is a repost of an aerial view of Newcastle/Gateshead. If you look closely at the middle you can see the bridges and the Sage.

This next one is an aerial of the Port Huron area of Michigan. I live about half an hour’s drive from here. It’s the largest city nearest to us for major shopping.

Lets all wish Beth a happy and quick recovery, too!

The Newcastle United shop in Eldon Square.
Inside the shop looking out.
Sorry I’ve missed a couple of days (or more accurately missed one day and posted horrendously late today). I’ve been ill and away (yes, both at once).
I have an awful lot on my plate at the minute, compounded by my camera still being off getting fixed and having no time to go out and take any pics even with my back up camera or mobile, so I’m going to have to take a week off. I’ll send Cassandra a message and see if she can pick up any of this week, but otherwise, normal posting will resume on Sunday 1st November. Sorry for any inconvenience, and see you then!

St Peter’s Marina is hidden away near St Anthony’s. I had no idea it was there - it’s strange how I didn’t have any concept of the river between Newcastle and the coast, even though I know the shape it follows.
