It took me a few seconds to get my bearings on this one. It is an unusual view and I only see it from ground level. I shall be driving around there tomorrow and I hope the traffic is as light as it is in your picture.
Way back in the 70`s my wife used to operate a switchboard in this building, but she had the opposite, not as interestng view across the multi carpark, at Manors. MikeM
For anyone interested Newcastle Libraries now have a Flickr site with 6500 old photographs, paintings and etchings of the region. Lots of stuff that has never been seen outside the library. It is fascinating and there are some of Gateshead for you Mrs. K.
