  Ahhhhh…the lovely Jesmond Dene taken in summer, I’m guessing. My mother had an old black and white large photograph taken of Jesmond Dene covered in snow and it was quite beautiful. She said it was her favorite picture in the house because of fond memories spent there as a child. I know………no more snow pictures!

  The wonderful Armstrong Bridge, I wonder if they still have the craft fair there on Sunday mornings. I am old enough to remember when you could drive over the bridge though it must have been pedestrianised in the early 60s. To think that the council once considered demolishing it, it doesn’t bear thinking about.
