June 28, 2010 - The Giant Wheel: the Hoppings 2010

Sorry for going AWOL for a few days. I didn’t mean to. Just really busy and couldn’t find the time or energy to post. The Hoppings was partly to blame (took up the whole of my Thursday night, interrupting my flow!), so it’s only fair to post this pic. More hopefully to follow.

June 24, 2010 - Civic Centre Tower

Another Civic Centre shot today, this time as close-up as I could get to the Tower at the top. You can see the ring of seahorse heads, but if you look closely you can see the smaller inner ring above. I love this pic of the tower against a beautiful summer sky.

June 22, 2010 - Summer outside the Civic

The sun had gone in on the day last week when I took this shot, but people were still sitting outside the Civic Centre and watching the world go by. There are worse places to be.

Going to the Hoppings tomorrow night and hoping that the weather holds out - it’s lovely so far! Pics later in the week.
