These flags are in the window of the Corner House, a pub in Heaton at the corner of the Coast Road and Heaton Road/Newton Road.

Longest day today. I’m setting this post up at 22.37pm Sunday night, and it’s still not totally dark yet. Amazing.

June 19, 2010 - BHS Mural

This mural is on Northumberland Road, outside the side entrance to BHS. Apparently the mural was commissioned by Newcastle City Council and Northern Arts back in 1974. Come back tomorrow for pics of each individual mural!

All this week there’s been a ‘Keen Green and Ethical‘ market at Monument. These drummers were there on Monday. The market’s there til Monday next week if you want to go!
